Blush Suede & Chocolate

Blush Suede and Chocolate 20“March is a month of considerable frustration – it is so near spring and yet across a great deal of the country the weather is still so violent and changeable that outdoor activity in our yards seems light years away.”

Like every Chicagoan, I’m anxiously and impatiently waiting for spring’s arrival. And, despite the fact that March weather is still very winter-y, I am slowly reintegrating my favorite spring pieces into my wardrobe in a single-handed attempt to resist the frost in these final weeks.

When I spotted this lovely pastel tote bag at H&M, I knew it was the perfect transitional accessory to take me from late winter to spring. It’s design is extra-functional considering the JAW-DROPPINGLY low price tag and the spacious size allows this to double as a camera bag too. It’s the perfect way to embrace spring in winter (pastel nail polish helps too).

Are you also experiencing winter fatigue? Have you been slowly inching spring pieces into your wardrobe? If so, what?

P.s. My sister drew a sketch of this outfit as one of my birthday presents too:Emra Illustrations Sed Bona 2015
