“I always have a positive reaction to Times Square — you’ve got so many people passing through here, so many cultures, and so many people merging into the central community of New York City. This is the hub of America.“

Our girl’s trip to NYC for my cousin’s birthday this past weekend was a WHIRLWIND. It was our first family trip together (and her first time visiting NYC).
I took my family to so many of my favorite restaurants including Russ & Daughters, Rubirosa, Empellon, and Maman.
And we also discovered so many great, new spots too like Blacktail in Battery Park which had some amazing Cuban cocktails.
(P.s. I promise to update my NYC Travel Guide as soon as I’ve finished editing the hundreds of photos we shot all weekend long.)
But above all my cousin wanted to see Times Square for herself. So our very first night in NYC, we forged our way through the crowds and had a blast shooting half-sober in the chaos.
As a blogger, I’ve never shot in Times Square before (at least with my professional camera) and I was amazed at just how fun it was. And how bright! I couldn’t believe that we got these shots this crisp without a tripod.
I promise to share more from our trip but for now enjoy this first peek.
And in case you’re on the hunt for an amazing pair of jeans, my favorite brand AG Jeans is in the midst of their Friends & Family Sale!
I wore these super-high-waisted Mila skinny jeans in NYC all weekend long and am now officially obsessed. They were so soft — just like pajamas — and the silhouette is so flattering for petite girls with curves like me! I’m already debating a second pair… perhaps in this wash?
