Happy Valentine’s Day!

One day late.

With all the chaos of the last few weeks AND our romantic trip to Vegas this past weekend, I’ve really been running behind here on the blog.

I promise to be much more on-top of things once I’ve caught up on sleep!

But with all this chaotic traveling, family drama, and a few other things happening behind-the-scenes, I knew this year for Valentine’s Day I wanted to wear something simple. Something easy. Something completely different from my lace blouse last year or my brocade skirt the year before

Something like this all-red look.

Masculine-ish trousers, a comfy blouse that’s dressy but not-at-all stuffy, and my favorite wrap coat.

It’s an easy outfit that’s chic without being uncomfortable. And glamorous in a less traditionally feminine sort of way.

I’m especially loving these Alice + Olivia trousers.

They’re so comfortable and chic! I’ve been itching to add a few more easy, wear-everywhere-to-everything trousers after discovering my favorite striped pair this fall and these bright red ones from Alice & Olivia have certainly fit the bill.

What did you wear this Valentine’s Day?
