“Vulnerability is the essence of romance. It’s the art of being uncalculated, the willingness to look foolish, the courage to say, ‘This is me, and I’m interested in you enough to show you my flaws with the hope that you may embrace me for all that I am but, more important, all that I am not.”

Valentine’s Day is less than a week away! YIKES!
Do you know what you’re gifting?
Do you know what you’re wearing?
I wore this skirt for Valentine’s Day last year and couldn’t resist the urge to style it again this year. It’s the perfect romantic skirt being weighty for the February cold but opulent and pretty at the same time.
This year I’ve built my outfit around a pink palette as opposed to my usual red if only because it’s such a spring-y color and deep down inside I’m yearning for warm weather like woah. Hence the off-the-shoulder blouse too. And the sunglasses on a gloomy day.
Let’s just go ahead and ignore the fact that I was absolutely covered in goosebumps when Anna and I shot these photos too. [bctt tweet=”Because if you wish for it hard enough (and dress for it), spring will come sooner right?”]
