“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what I really WANT to wear for Thanksgiving.
Since I technically dress and style myself as part of my professional “job”, this is always a little more complicated than you’d think it would be.
But my life lately has been busy, full of hurdles, and lots of late night deadlines. And the truth is, underneath all my fancy outfits I’m really a couch-and-Netflix-with-Hubby-type. A no-bra, sweatpants type.
Shocking, I know since I love to wear heels!
But when things get busy, the last thing I have time to really think about is my outfit. And eventually I start to think of sweatpants as “appropriate for all occasions”…
So that’s where today’s look comes in.
My “ACTUALLY easy Thanksgiving outfit” a.k.a. what I actually want to wear for the holidays. Easy, cozy, but with enough chic finishes to feel composed and stylish. A great compromise between my “fancy” side and my “real” side, wouldn’t you say?
Fashion Tip: If you ever, EVER find a dress that feels like your favorite pair of sweatpants, BUY IT NOW! And wear it every Thanksgiving proudly!
