Each season I naturally develop a “uniform” or grab-and-go ensemble for those mornings when I simply don’t know what to wear. In winter, I live in my fur-lined Le Chameau wellies and shearling LK Bennett coat so I pick matching pieces that tie everything together. In summer, I have always gravitated towards large neutral bags and easy sandals. These Weitzman sandals have become my absolute favorite: they have a small walkable wedge and beautiful gold-plated details all while being exceptionally comfortable. Dress – Zara (here)
Sandals – Stuart Weitzman (ON SALE here)
Monogram Tote – Gigi New York ‘Jessica’ (here)
Keychain – Gucci ‘Oliver’ Pug
Nails – OPI “Don’t Pretzel My Buttons” (here)
Jewelry – Tiffany & Co Elsa Peretti Pearls By the Yard (bracelet here, necklace is no longer available but longer style here)
Sunglasses – Ray-Ban ‘Wayfarer’ (here)
This summer, my uniform has boiled down to this equation: simple summer dress (pockets appreciated) + these sandals + this carries-everything-I-could-ever-need-including-my-gigantic-digital-camera monogrammed tote. I absolutely love this tote, it pairs well with every outfit but, because of it’s lighter shade, it doesn’t swallow up my petite frame. This beautiful denim dress is perfect for running quick errands when the humidity and temperature soar. The fabric is structured but still breathable and has excellent boning for support (and, of course, POCKETS!). On mornings when I am struggling to brew coffee let alone pull together an outfit, having a summer uniform or “outfit equation” makes all the difference.
