Coat – vintage inherited from my grandmother (similar: 1 / 2 / 3|| Dress – Asos (similar: 1 / 2|| Boots – Stuart Weitzman Lowland (budget options: 1 / 2) || Purse – Modalu ‘Pippa’ (options) || Sunglasses – Valentino || Blowout – c/o drybar (this style lasted for three days total!)

Of all the coats in my closet, this furry cheetah-print coat is my very favorite. My great-grandmother bought it as a gift for my grandmother in the 70s and last year she gave it to me.

Despite being twice my age, it’s the most beautifully constructed coat I’ve ever seen and looks just like new. Not to mention it’s warmer than almost anything else I have in my closet and, with winter on the horizon, it’s a chic way to bundle up!

Funnily enough cheetah and leopard coat have been making a HUGE comeback this season and it’s no wonder — it’s a fun neutral print that’s the perfect mixture of vintage and modern. I love pairing it with solids but I love pairing it with prints even more! As long as you keep the print proportions and colors similar enough, the combination works beautifully!

Have you jumped on the animal print coat bandwagon yet?
