There is nothing more invigorating than those first few weeks of spring when you can finally walk around outside without a parka, without wanting to kick yourself. Lately we’ve had a huge resurgence of “blazer weather” and I’ve been practically living in this blazer. It pairs with so much but the cut-out peplum finish in the back gives it a unique silhouette that feels both timeless and fresh. It’s one of the best wardrobe investments I’ve ever made!

This dress has also become a favorite wardrobe investment — it’s a classic silhouette in a vibrant color that feels luxuriously silky on. As with most of my wardrobe investments, it is a simple piece with some serious character. Da Vinci reminds us that simplicity and sophistication often go hand-in-hand and I’ve taken that to heart when it comes to investing in my closet. I love the idea of building a small wardrobe of favorites that I remix over the years as my style evolves. I know both of these pieces will still be relevant in my life a decade from now because they have just enough timelessness to their character.

What are some of your favorite wardrobe investments? Do you expect to be wearing them in ten years?
